Come join EC IMRG for a great ride to San Luis Obispo, Hollister, Monterey, and Solvang on Thursday, Sept 14th to Sunday the 17th.

Please arrive with full tanks.
FYI - We will stop @ every 100 miles for bathroom breaks/gas for smaller bikes/ and lunch (stops are TBD).

DAY-1 (Mileage - @290) We’ll MEET @9AM at McDonalds in Oceanside, 1701 Oceanside Blvd. with KSU @ 9:30AM and cruise up I-5 through L.A. and past Magic Mountain to Frazier Park for lunch and gas (stop @ Flying Js - most likely). Then west (via 95 & 166) through farms and mountains on county roads to Santa Maria and onto the 101 to San Luis Obispo for first night hotel.

ALTERNATE DAY 1 is through LA to 101 and San Luis Obispo (@276 miles).

Day 2 (Mileage - @190) KSU 9AM (subject to change).
We’ll briefly take the 101 to San Miguel, then exit to Indian Valley Road to Peachtree Road through rural farms and ranches, to the 25 and on to Hollister for a visit to Hollister Indian and Motorsports. We'll have a lunch stop in Hollister, then about 40 more miles to Monterey & hotel.

ALTERNATE DAY 2 is continuing up the 101 and/or Hwy 1 (pending possible closures on the 1) to Hollister & Monterey.
(Possibly may add Santa Cruz before heading to Monterey - pending how us riders feel @240 miles - TBD).

Day 3 (Mileage - @210) KSU 9AM (subject to change).
Pending any closures on Hwy 1.
We'll ride down Highway 1 through Big Sur, Cambria, San Simeon, and on to Solvang. We will stop at Ragged Point for coffee, photos, etc. As we ride the "1", there will be many nice stops for photos, etc, so we can stop frequently, or you can peel away and explore on your own and meetup with the group later down the road. We will decide on lunch along the way, then continue to Solvang. Hopefully, after checking into the motel and having dinner, we’ll have time in the evening to explore a bit and visit the Solvang Motorcycle Museum. If we have enough participation and interest, they may agree to open the museum for us for a private visit! (STILL TBD).

Day 4 (Mileage - @250) KSU 9AM (subject to change).
We will leave east out of Solvang and turn south onto the 154, past Lake Cachuma, then on down to the 101 near Santa Barbara, to the 405 and back to San Diego. Hopefully, we should be home early afternoon.
We will do our best to avoid any traffic.

HOTEL INFORMATION:
KSU is 9AM at hotels (TBD). Please fill tanks PRIOR to KSU times.

You can book hotels ANYWHERE you choose, to your liking. But FYI, previous members have booked the following hotels:

1. La Cuesta Inn, 2074 Monterey St. (San Luis Obispo).

2. Rodeway Inn, 1374 Munras Ave (Monterey). Some members have stayed at these 2 hotels before and they are descent for a reasonable price on Expedia and Booking.

3. The "M" Solvang, 293 Alisal Road (Solvang). Solvang can be pricey if you don't have discounts on Booking or other travel sites.
   3A) Buellton is a cheaper option, 5 miles west of Solvang.
